Since April 2009, the Volunteer Centre has recruited hundreds of volunteers for local organisations. To be precise more than 1000!

We welcomed our 1000th volunteer in January 2010 and she is pictured here with Cllr Steve Holmes, Mayor of Dacorum, Joanna Hall, Manager of the Riverside Shopping Centre and Heather Allen from the Volunteer Centre.

Emma Dandy decided to start volunteering when her youngest child started nursery school. Currently Emma is considering 4 different voluntary opportunities - she had loads of choice.
