CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERING

If you enjoy the outdoor life and have an interest in preserving the countryside in the Dacorum area, then there are several conservation groups who would appreciate your help. You'll work as one of a team, so there's a good chance to meet new people too.

Get involved in:-

• Scrub clearance
• Pathway maintenance
• Tree planting
• Pond renovation
• Learn about practical countryside management
• Gate and stile maintenance
• Footpath creation and maintenance

• A few hours a week - flexible times and days
• All tools provided
• Previous experience not required as training available

If you're considering a career in conservation, then this will serve as a taster and you'll gain valuable work experience.
