The Roundhouse is a resource centre for local voluntary and community groups. It has full disabled access and it's a lot bigger than you might think from the outside! It offers great opportunities for local voluntary and community sector organisations. If your organisation is a member of Volunteer Centre Dacorum these facilities are either free, or at very reduced rates:-

• Rooms for hire by the hour
  • Interview rooms for 1:1 meetings
  • Resources Room for meetings / training etc.
• Town Centre shop front - windows for displays / posters
• Information area - voluntary and community sector leaflets
• Internet connections throughout the building
• Interactive whiteboard / projector (in Resources Room)
• Portable hearing loop
• Small kitchen for preparing drinks / snacks
• Reception area for Town Centre events
• Library with reference materials on volunteer management

Library
We have a library of reference books covering volunteer recruitment and management, trustee information etc. Please call in for a browse.

Poster production
Please contact us if you need help producing posters - we have up to date graphics and desk top publishing software and can colour print in A4 and A3.

Photocopying
We offer a small volume colour and black and white photocopying service.
B&W - 10p for A4, 20p for A3.
Colour - 50p for A4, £1 for A3.

Reception

Displays



Member organisations are able to display leaflets and posters inside the Roundhouse and in one of the 8 external windows for FREE! They can also book spaces in one of the large windows (for 1 or 2 weeks) to advertise activities or forthcoming events. (Booking advisable)

Resources room



The Resources Room is very adaptable. It can accommodate up to 10 people around a table (or 15 in theatre style).
Charges. Bookings can be for occasional or regular use. For member organisations, the basic room hire charge is £10.00 per hour which represents a 20% discount. Please check here for the many other benefits of membership. Non member rates per hour are £12.50 for the Resources Room. The room is also available for local businesses - please contact us for hire costs.

Interview rooms.
There are 2 interview rooms with Internet access. They can be hired at £8 per hour for members. (£10 for non members).
