The Roundhouse - what's on offer:-

The Roundhouse offers great opportunities for voluntary and community sector organisations in Dacorum:-

*  Town Centre shop front - windows for displays

*  Resources Room for meetings / training / other activities :-

* Gold Standard disabled access
* Available on an hourly or daily basis, regularly or occasionally
* Bookable in advance
* Reception service and waiting area
* Multimedia projector, screen and laptop
* Internet connection
* Small kitchen for drinks / snacks
* Basic reception service

*  Leaflet displays for voluntary and community organisations

*  Resource library for people who work with volunteers

Anyone interested in these facilities is welcome to call in for the "circular tour" and a cup of coffee! For details see below.

We welcome room hire bookings from business too - please phone for details.

Displays



Member organisations will be able to display leaflets and posters inside the Roundhouse and in one of the 8 external windows. They will also be able to book display boards in one of the large windows (for 1 or 2 weeks) to advertise activities or forthcoming events.

Poster production
Please contact us if you need help producing posters - we have up to date graphics and desk top publishing software and both A4 and A3 colour printers. We can produce 1 or 2 posters for you to display at the Roundhouse. (£1 for A4, £2 for A3).

Resources Room hire
Do you need somewhere for:-

* Interviews - potential volunteers?

* User / Client services?
* Fundraising / Trading e.g. Christmas cards?

The Resources Room, together with the shop front, offer great opportunities for developing various activities. Please visit and discuss your ideas with us.

The room is very adaptable and can accommodate up to 10 people around a table (or 15 in theatre style).

Charges
For local voluntary and community organisations, the basic room hire charge is £12.50 per hour (as from Aug 1st 2008) with a 20% discount for members of Volunteer Centre Dacorum.

Businesses, statutory agencies and out of area organisations will be charged £20 per hour, with a 10% discount for regular bookings for 6 months paid in advance. Other services e.g. equipment hire, Internet connection at small extra charge.
