FREE Family Cycling Fun Day

How often do you think it would be great to do something different with the family but everything is so expensive? The answer is probably most weekends! If so, you will be interested to hear more about our Family Cycling Fun Day. As well as being free, this event is a great opportunity in these unsettled times, for the community to come together and just have fun.

The event takes place on Sunday 30th April 10am – 4pm at the Bovingdon Airfield track, just off the A41 (HP1 2RR). You can bring your own bike or borrow one of ours to have a leisurely ride around the smooth tarmaced track or alternatively, have a friendly race with your family and friends. If you don’t want to cycle, do come and watch the fun, chat with friends and perhaps treat yourself at one of the food and drink stalls.

How can this event be free I hear you ask? The event is free because it is sponsored by Sport England. It is part of a 3 year project Get Set Go Dacorum run by Dacorum Borough Council alongside The Volunteer Centre Dacorum to encourage people to become more involved in sport and hopefully live healthier lives.
