One of our charities is looking for volunteers for five specific roles within their multiple locations around Hertfordshire, including Dacorum:Group of different coloured hands in the air

If this is of interest to you, please contact us on the number below.

Ward/Unit Visiting Volunteer

As a ward or unit visiting volunteer you would be providing company and conversation to patients and collecting feedback using the ‘Have Your Say’ and ‘Friends and Family Test’ surveys. You would also be working with Occupational Therapists and Recreational Workers by engaging in some social and recreational activities with the users.

Activities Volunteer

As an activities volunteer you would be supporting the work of their Occupational Therapists by offering specialist activities for service users in their units and wards. You would also be providing company and conversation to the users so if you have good communication and teamwork skills then this could be for you!

The minor clerical support role would suit someone with good admin skills. You would be helping with duties such as photocopying, laminating, shredding information packs, updating information on notice boards and other similar minor clerical duties.

Appointment or Support Group Volunteer

The charity requires both appointment volunteers and support group volunteers. These roles will be providing a range of support to aid effective delivery of great care to service users and carers. Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills are needed for this role.
