On Thursday 12th March we will be hosting a Volunteer Fair at the Nora Grace Hall in Tring. The fair is a joint collaboration with #TeamHerts Volunteering and will take place between 1 and 2:30 pm.

We will be joined by a variety of charitable organisations from Tring and surrounding areas who will be there to talk to people about the different volunteering opportunities that they have on offer. Each of the organisations have a mix of different kinds of voluntary roles so there’s bound to be something for everyone!

Some of the organisations that we’ll be joined by are as follows:

BucksVision – a local society dedicated to supporting visually impaired people across Buckinghamshire.

Community Links - a volunteer project supporting the work of Community Navigators within the Dacorum Area.

Community Transport – provider of transport solutions that enable people to live independently, socialise with others and fulfil everyday life activities.

Dacorum Mencap - a small local charity that supports adults who have a learning disability.

Inspire All – an experienced provider of Family Support Services within Hertfordshire that is currently responsible for the management of 35 family centres.

Mind – provider of a diverse range of services for people in Hertfordshire who are experiencing difficulties with mental health.

Rennie Grove – provider of care for local patients with advanced, progressive life-limiting illnesses to the very end of their life.

Survivors of Bereavement by Suicide – a charity that helps overcome the isolation experienced by people who have been bereaved by suicide.

The Hospice of St Francis - a charity that provides free, expert care for people living with life-limiting illnesses in West Herts and South Bucks.

Tring Together – a local charity with the vision ‘to enjoy life in Tring’.

Waterways Experience – a local charity set up to help everyone enjoy canal boating, regardless of physical, mental or social obstacles.

Wildlife Trust – the leading voice for wildlife conservation across Hertfordshire and Middlesex.

So come along to the Nora Grace Hall in Tring on Thursday 12th March between 1 and 2:30 pm to see what you can do!
