Volunteer Christmas Bag Packers needed for one day in December – but remember volunteering is for the long term not just for Christmas!!

One of our fantastic charities is looking for Christmas shopping bag packers to help at a local supermarket in Hemel Hempstead on Saturday December 8th 2018 between 1pm and 5pm.Chrismas Tree made with coloured hands

They are looking for volunteers who are 16+ to pack shopping bags for the supermarket customers in order to raise funds for their specialist playgroup. You will need to be friendly and approachable and be able to engage with the customers whilst helping to pack their shopping. A lovely smile also helps!

The charity is a local charity based in Hertfordshire that runs parent and child term-time groups for pre-school children between the ages of 1 and 5 years with special physical needs. They rely on grants and donations to keep their much needed services running and organising this Christmas bag packing day is one way to make some much needed funds!

You will be volunteering alongside other volunteers and members of the charity and it promises to be a fun day! Packing shopping, talking to customers, knowing you are helping a much needed charity has got to entice you surely! So, contact us on the number below and start your volunteering journey – remember we need volunteers every day of the year not just for Christmas so this could be the start of a wonderful volunteering journey for you!

If the above strikes a chord with you, you can drop in and see us at the Roundhouse in the Marlowes for an informal chat – our opening hours are 10.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday and 10.00am to 2.00pm on a Saturday, or contact us on 01442 247209 and we can arrange for you to come in and meet one of our advisors who will go through everything with you.

We look forward to seeing you!
